Department of Corrections

The Department of Corrections at Vacaville Psychiatric Progrom (VPP) is responsible for the overall security of the facility.  Their primary focus is the integrity and security of the perimeter fence and those areas outside of the perimeter fence within the facility.   While their primary focus is perimeter security, Corrections is responsible for control, sally port functions, visiting, patient transportation to and from court, internal and external hospital appointments transportation, inter-compound movement, and patrol/traffic control on the grounds of the hospital.
