VISITING HOURS
Visits from relatives and friends are an important part of the Individual’s therapeutic progress. No authorized visit will be denied unless such a visit is considered therapeutically harmful. All Individuals retain the right to decline visits from anyone.
Visiting hours in Programs I, II and VI are 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. daily. Out-of-state visitors, those who have traveled a considerable distance or demonstrate special circumstances, may be permitted to visit outside regular visiting hours.
Visiting hours in Penal Code Programs III and V are 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. daily. These hours and visitations are subject to additional restrictions. It is recommended that visitors review current visiting policy with program staff prior to their visit.
Minors visiting Individuals must be accompanied by an adult who is responsible for the supervision of the minor.
It is recommended that advance notice be given when planning a visit to ensure the Individual is available (not in clinics, groups, etc.) and prepared for visitors.
The hospital is handicapped accessible.
SMOKING
All buildings on the campus are designated smoke-free, and you are requested to smoke at least 15 feet from any building.
TOURS
Individual and group tours of the hospital are welcomed. Requests for tours are scheduled by the Office of Central Program Services at (562) 651-4311. Two weeks advance notice is preferred.
