Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site certification & triennial re-certification of all county-owned and operated Short-Doyle/Medi-Cal (SD/MC) funded programs
- Review and issue decision letters on 2nd Level appeals of Treatment Authorization Requests (TAR) that are submitted by inpatient psychiatric hospital providers
- Questionable Medi-Cal Claims
- Receive and approve professional licensing waiver requests
- Unusual occurrences
- Client/Family member relations
- Conduct inpatient Short Doyle/Medi-Cal chart reviews
