Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site certification & triennial re-certification of all county-owned and operated Short-Doyle/Medi-Cal (SD/MC) funded programs
  • Review and issue decision letters on 2nd Level appeals of Treatment Authorization Requests (TAR) that are submitted by inpatient psychiatric hospital providers
  • Questionable Medi-Cal Claims
  • Receive and approve professional licensing waiver requests
  • Unusual occurrences
  • Client/Family member relations
  • Conduct inpatient Short Doyle/Medi-Cal chart reviews
