Settlement Team Initiatives 2008 - 2009
The Emily Q Settlement Team consists of representatives of the state agencies, county mental health plans, class members, and their families. The Settlement Team has been meeting with the Special Master since April 2008 to develop a Plan concerning Therapeutic Behavior Services (TBS). The Team has developed a Nine-Point Plan that will result in increased access and improved delivery of TBS to members of the Emily Q class. This Plan creates a comprehensive set of requirements for settling the Emily Q lawsuit and ending the Court's jurisdiction. Please see the documents below for further detail.
